ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS

NON-CONTACT  INDUCTION  DEVICE    (NID)

OVERVIEW

The very important functional  part of any  Access Cabin is the anti-piggybacking tool. In most cases this is the electromechanical weighing device (EWD). The using EWD as anti-piggybacking tool complicates of the cabin construction and as a result cabins cost is rised up.

 NID DESTINATION

NID has been developed as anti-piggybacking tool  for an Access Cabin  for the purpose of it's cost reduction.

THE PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

NID functions in the following way: when human body is in the space filled with quasistationary electromagnetic field created by field-forming unit called Helmgoltz rings, the interaction between field and human body results in that NID produces electric signals depending on body mass and biological tissues electromagnetic characteristics.

THE HUMAN BODY MAGNETIC WEIGHT STABILITY

We have determined that human body magnetic weight stability is not worse than usual human body weight stability.

NID  COMPOSITION

The basic parts of NID are:

field-forming Helmgolz rectangular rings (dimensions 2.2x1.0x1.0 m),

the measuring unit (dimensions 120x70x30 mm).

PROFITS FROM REPLACEMENT OF EWD WITH NID

In case of using the electromechanical weighing device (EWD) as an anti-piggybacking tool in Access Cabin the entire module with closed doors and man inside is weighed. Such Access Cabin construction must provide independent man weight measuring results from man place in cabin. It leads to increasing of cabin construction cost by dozens of percentages.

The Access Cabin construction is simplified greatly in case of EWD substitution for NID. The construction of Access Cabin will be similar to empty box with two doors in this case.

Obviously EWD substitution for NID will provide large economic effect by dozens of percentages of cabin construction cost.

NID has longer work period, is more reliable, repairable and suitable in exploitation in comparison with EWD.

USING OF NID IN SLIDING DOORS CYLINDRICAL  LOCK CABIN

All mentioned above are related to possible NID integration into sliding door cylindrical lock cabin. Helmgolz rectangular rings built into cylindrical cabin frame are shown in Figure 2.

USING OF NID IN PORTAL DOUBLE DOORS MANUAL (PDDM) CABIN

Using of NID in Portal Double Door Manual (PDDM) cabin is similarly and simpler than in cylindrical lock cabin.
